Jenna Jameson is all in on the keto diet and she has enjoyed incredible results. Jameson flaunted her impressive weight loss transformation in a before-and-after photo on Instagram.
Jameson shared a photo on Instagram on Wednesday with the 45-year-old at two different weights. She wrote the caption: “This is 205 vs. 125 both perfectly happy… but only one of these is healthy! I’m so thankful to #keto for giving me my life back!”
The former adult film star has made her Instagram account a keto advice page. Jameson admitted that she missed eating pineapple most since going on the ketogenic diet, especially since she lives in Hawaii. The keto diet is a low-carb, low-sugar, high-protein, high-fat diet, where fruit is to be consumed in small quantities.
Jameson has been on the keto diet in March of 2018 because she was having trouble losing baby weight after having three children. She would soon lose 80 pounds and go from 205 pounds to 125 pounds. Jenna’s target weight was 110 pounds, but she has ditched that goal because she feels 125 pounds is her healthiest weight.
“I think my body has decided this is my ideal weight. 125,” Jameson said in an Instagram on September 9, 2018. “My unhealthy mind keeps thinking I need to be 110. I quietly say ‘not today, demon.’ I won’t cave to those voices that tell me I need to be a size 0 to be loved. When I look in the mirror now I see health and happiness, and that alone is my fuel to continue this lifestyle.”
“Since I’m at my goal weight (125) I don’t want to lose more, so I’m upping my calories from my usual #ketodiet,” she said in another post, and added that she’s still following the keto diet. “But LISTEN TO ME, I am not saying to myself… ‘it’s ok to eat garbage processed nastiness!’ I am sticking to yummy organic fresh foods. I’m just allowing myself room.”
Jameson has been sober for over three years. “Today is an important day for me in my recovery. 3 years. I can’t begin to explain what sobriety has brought to my life. But I will try,” Jameson wrote in an Instagram post last September. “Yes, I’m not the intensely self centered ‘the world owes me something’ woman anymore. I am now the ‘What can I do for the world’ woman.”
Congratulations on the great healthy success to Jenna Jameson.
