Jenna Jameson Flaunts Off Body Transformation And Weight Loss After Being On The Keto Diet For A Year

There have been many discussions on whether the keto diet is effective and healthy for a while now, but Jenna Jameson is a big proponent of the extreme low-carb diet. On Thursday, Jameson celebrated being on the ketogenic diet for one year by showing off her new body. Jameson posted on Instagram a side-by-side photo of before and after the keto diet and her new-found sobriety that boasted her dynamic weight loss.

The Instagram photo was captioned: “Today I celebrate 1 year of being #keto I have absolutely never felt better! Combining #sobriety, the keto lifestyle and intermittent fasting is the perfect trifecta for me when it comes to a healthy sustainable fitness journey. Thanks everyone for supporting me and joining me in my quest for ultimate health!!! Love you!”

The 45-year-old Jameson gave birth to her third child in April of 2017 and struggled to get rid of the baby fat. Then she switched to the keto diet and enjoyed tremendous weight loss success. The former adult film star said that she lost nearly 100 pounds since she started the keto diet. Jameson has been documenting her body transformation and progress on Instagram.

A few weeks ago, Jameson posted another side-by-side photo and said: “Your body runs beautifully while in ketosis, but if you want to maintain or even add weight, it’s absolutely easy just by adjusting your caloric intake. While in weight loss mode, caloric deficit is paramount!”

In a #MondayMotivation post on Instagram, Jenna pointed out that being too overweight and being too skinny can both be unhealthy.

During the past year, Jameson has credited the keto diet with helping with her mental health as well as weight loss. She said that trying to fit into tight clothes “depressed me.”

Jameson says she still cooks pasta for her family, but while her family gets spaghetti bolognese, she substitutes zucchini noodles for carbohydrate-heavy pasta.

In a #TransformationTuesday post, Jameson flaunted her dramatic weight loss.

Here’s how I started #keto ♥️ I began by reorganizing my refrigerator and pantry. I threw away everything that was processed and packaged. I starting reading EVERY ingredient in my foods, you’d be sooo surprised how companies hide corn syrup, potato starch and a host of other fillers and sugar in their foods. This is the stuff that sticks to our saddlebags and muffin tops! I then made a trip to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods and focused on buying lots of beautiful produce, grass fed meats, and wild fish. I bought lots of block cheeses (most packaged shredded cheeses contain potato starch FYI) the shorter the ingredient list the better when it comes to food! I drink mostly water but I adore Fresca soda, it helps dampen my sweet tooth. I always keep my fridge stocked with lots of yummy options so I resist the urge to get take out! One of my tricks to staying lean is I always cook my own food and rarely eat out. I avoid any big companies that label their foods KETO, they are usually scamming you. Stick to whole foods from Mother Earth 🌍 lastly, talk to your family, get them on board. It’s very important you have support from your loved ones… it aids in success!
