Joe Jonas was a guest this week on the Will & Woody: For The Drive Home podcast where he was more relatable than he’s ever been in his life.

Joe, the middle brother, opened up about the time he pooped his pants on stage while wearing all white clothes. Then he joked about the amount of therapy needed to scrub the shame of that experience from his consciousness.

Aussies Will and Woody tried to pry a story out of Jonas by asking him to share something he’d never shared with the media before. That’s when Joe dove headfirst into the pool.

He led off with “I was with a few friends yesterday and we were just talking about how there’s a point in your life, as an adult, you can remember the last time you s— your pants.”

When pressed for details, Joe Jonas told the hosts “I think it might’ve been a little toot, might’ve been something else, something a little extra. So it was a, like, mid-wardrobe s— change during the set.”

The middle Jonas brother went on to reveal he was wearing white clothes. Saying “let’s just say it was a bad day to wear white clothing.” He put the highly relatable story to bed by saying he’s been “able to work through it… with a lot of therapy.”

Joe Jonas didn’t reveal which concert this happened at. He didn’t want make it easy for fans to find the poopy pants incident. However, he said “If you go in the archives, there is a wardrobe change halfway through a show and it’s a little bit like, that’s a bit interesting choice to change clothes that quickly.”

I’ve never felt like Joe Jonas was this relatable until now. We “met” once and by “met” I mean I stood in front of him at Chobani in SoHo on the corner of my old apartment while I had my Bernese Mountain Dog with me, just trying to get my dog some yogurt, and he thought I was trying to get his attention while I was just trying to make sure my dog didn’t step on his designer white sneakers because you know how badly Bernese Mountain Dogs want to be up in everybody’s business. But me and Millie Grace (my dog) were regulars at this Chobani on W. Broadway and Prince so they expedited my order and things never got weird.

And Joe is right, every adult remembers where they were the last time they made the mistake of trusting a fart too much. It’s been a LONG time for me but I had just eaten Chick-fil-a with Polynesian Sauce and was walking on the FSU campus in Tallahassee. Got too comfortable with a toot and it turned into a nightmare scenario immediately. In seconds I was sprinting at full speed back to my car and had to skip class entirely that morning.

Be careful out there, fellas. I’ve never met a fart I could trust and neither have you.
