Only days after Justin Bieber slammed Eminem for not understanding the new generation of rap, the pop singer has another hot take. Now Bieber is defending Chris Brown and going so far as to declare Breezy as a talented combination of Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur.

On Friday, Bieber posted a graphic showing that the combination of Michael Jackson and 2pac equals Chris Brown. Biebs captioned the image with: “everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time … trust me watch you will see. the people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial.”

Chris Brown replied to the Instagram post by replying: “I LOVE YOU MAN! THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN ME. YOUR STAR SHINES SO BRIGHT AND YOUR HEART IS UNMATCHED! YOU ARE A KING BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY YOU WERE PUT HERE TO INSPIRE AND CREATE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES BRO! IM WITH YA TILL THE WHEELS FALL OFF AND WHEN THEY DO … WE GONE GET SOME NEW WHEELS.”
Chris also replied with several heart emojis.

However, not everyone was happy with the comparison of the two legendary artists with Chris Brown, especially with his history of violence towards women. The “mistake” that Bieber references is Brown’s felony assault of Rihanna in 2009 that he pled guilty to. Brown is also been involved with several brawls, some involving Drake and Frank Ocean.

In 2013, Brown was involved in an alleged hit-and-run in Los Angeles and arrested for felony assault in Washington, D.C., but it was reduced to a misdemeanor. Brown went to rehab, but was kicked out.
In 2016, Brown allegedly threatened a woman with a gun and the police were called. Brown refused to let the LAPD enter his house without a search warrant, they came back with a warrant and he still refused to cooperate.
In 2018, Brown was arrested on a charge of felony battery.
In 2019, Brown was arrested by police in Paris after being accused of aggravated rape by a 24-year-old woman. He was released from custody with no charges filed.
Meanwhile, Jackson has been long-rumored to have molested children and was the subject of HBO’s Leaving Neverland documentary. Tupac went to prison for sexual assault.
