Back in August, famed bodybuilder and personality Rich Piana died after collapsing while getting a haircut in his Florida apartment. The 46-year-old was placed in a medically induced coma before passing away 18 days after the incident.

A death report has recently been publicized and found that Piana would snort lines of pre-workout powder like it was cocaine, TMZ reports. A police search of his apartment following his death revealed more than 20 bottles of steroids and a white powder.

Law enforcement officials reportedly spoke with Piana’s girlfriend, Chanel, who claimed that the 310-pound monster would snort Lemon Lime flavored CON-CRET PRE workout powder, which advertises itself as a highly pure creatine and a high-caffeine booster that promotes muscle growth.

Officials could not attribute Piana’s death to his creatine powder intake, but it was revealed that the California-native suffered from ‘severe heart disease’  and that his liver weighed twice the average amount for an adult male.

In a YouTube post from 2014, the popular bodybuilder admitted to using steroids for more than 30 years, bluntly revealing that it’s almost impossible to compete in professional bodybuilding without enhancements. A Deadspin profile of Piana from last year described his world as “one of excess.”

His homes are sprawling fortresses. His multiple cars are expensive and highly modified. His meals give a normal person sympathetic stomach aches just to look at [nine meals a day]. His workouts are grueling and intensive.

Piana’s steroid cycles got so intense that other bodybuilders made videos pleading for him to stop. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough.
