Twin Peaks Server Gets Flown Out To Denver. Then Her Number Gets Blocked: ‘The Whole Discussion Before The Tickets Giving Me The Ick’

A Twin Peaks server has gone viral after being stranded at an airport. The worst part of all was that she was abandoned there by a man.

In the TikTok clips, which have garnered more than 4 million views cumulatively, Maren Fowler (@marenfowlerrr) updated users on her predicament.

In the first video, she shares a video of herself crying at the airport. Accompanying on-screen text reads: “When you think you’re getting flown out but you’re genuinely getting abandoned at the airport in a different state and blocked on everything.

In the second video, she shares another video of herself at the airport. “POV: the guy that wants you to fly out and see him for a second time doesn’t want to see you anymore, but instead of calling off the trip he planned, he just makes up a crazy lie to leave you stranded at the airport.”

She then shared a series of screenshots with viewers.

She Shares The Texts

In the first screenshot, he appears to tell the server to get the $500 tickets. He seems to ask her to get the cheaper ones and promises to “pay for a bit” when she’s here.

The second screenshot involves texts Fowler describes as “cringe.”

In the third and fourth screenshots, they discuss what she’ll be doing while there. In the third screenshot specifically, she tells him she’s “not flying out there to ‘do’ [him] the whole time.”

“That would make me, like, an escort,” one text message read.

Accompanying these screenshots is text reading, “Making sure there’s clear boundaries while we’re still days out and I can still cancel my flight.”

In the next screenshot, he seems to tell her that his grandmother is dying and that his family is arranging to fly him back to Virginia.

Subsequently, in the following screenshot, Fowler seems to call him out for “abandoning her,” to which the man responds by saying her reply is “disgusting and heartless,” in light of what is happening to his grandma. He tells her to never text him again.

She then sends more texts that she describes in on-screen text as a “crash out.”

Standing with her suitcase, she looks at the camera as on-screen text reads: “Now I’m blocked, stranded, and out $600.”

What Did Commenters Say?

On the second video, which got the most views at 3.2 million, commenters were mixed.

“After the first set of texts I would’ve been calling it off!” one wrote. “Girl, the whole discussion before booking the tickets gave me the biggest ick…” a second admitted.

While a third remarked, “I’m so sorry this happened to you but and I’m gonna hold your hand while I say this.. the signs were there hun.”

Other commenters were more supportive.

“What is wrong with some of these commenters?” a fourth asked. “Haven’t you ever heard of sisterhood? You did nothing wrong and are a good person. I promise there is nothing wrong with you.”

And a fifth added, “Let’s normalize not bashing a woman for placing their trust into someone. what someone else might see, other cannot. we are all on our own timelines, and paths. i am so so sorry this happened to you girl. Did you get home safe?”

The Server Gives More Context

In a further follow-up, the Twin Peaks server remarked how some commenters called her names. She says some called her a prostitute when they thought he was paying for the tickets. Then, when they found out she paid for them, they apparently called her an idiot and stupid.

Fowler went on to add that she’d apparently been talking to the guy almost daily for 6-7 months. She claims that the first time she flew out to see him, she bought the ticket. Apparently, he paid for everything else.

“I knew that he wasn’t the best guy but I honestly did not think he would go this far,” she admitted. She later added that she was “down for a good time and a little vacation” rather than a relationship.

That being said, she mentioned how the guy had apparently been by her side throughout her social media journey. She described him as supportive. Fowler also noted how the guy talked about how he wanted to make TikToks with her. She added that this makes her wonder if he did all this to get more exposure.

She Gave Him Warnings

In that same video, Fowler added that she gave him lots of warnings before uploading. She did this “because I did not want to believe that this actually happened and I just wanted him to communicate to me that this was the truth.” She then told him she wouldn’t be mad if he paid her back for the tickets. However, she was ignored again.

“He made no effort to prove that this actually happened and did not shed a single drop of empathy for the situation that he put me in,” the server said.

She added that, given that he blocked her on everything and didn’t communicate, she didn’t feel bad about posting. The only response she has gotten since is that he is going to take legal action. When she spoke to him, Fowler says she told him that if he paid her back for the tickets, she’d take the videos down. He purportedly refused, saying he wanted her to delete the videos first. When she responded that she wanted the money first, he apparently declined and hung up on her.

Man Flies Out Wrong Girl To Mexico

If a man wants you to fly to meet him, that’s usually a dating red flag. Fowler isn’t the only person who took to the skies in the hopes of having some romance in their life.

In an especially bizarre turn of events, TikToker Zena (@zenawoz) also went viral after she flew out to meet a man. They had had a fling 10 years prior, and he paid for the flight in miles. However, when she arrived at the airport, things didn’t go as she expected.

It soon became apparent that he had flown out the wrong Zena, but, making the best of the situation, they got sushi together and went back to his place.

“The lesson here is save last names in your phone,” Zena said. “And if a man wants to fly you out, maybe have him come see you first.”

Ultimately, there’s a lesson to be learned here. If someone wants you to fly out and meet them, always think twice.
