Lil Dicky‘s had quite the few months. First, he was named a part of the XXL 2016 Freshman Class. He followed that up by robbing Desiigner and Anderson .Paak of the spotlight in their XXL Cypher. Then, yesterday, he followed that all up by signing with Scooter Braun, which means he’s about to become 100x more popular than he currently is.
With all that going for him, it’s easy to forget that Dicky’s whole angle is about being as relatable as possible to fans. He’s just a regular dude trying to follow his dream of being a hip-hop staple. But he wants to do it his own way, by being funny. Which comes through in this interview roundtable between him, Desiigner and Anderson .Paak. And no, I still can’t understand what Desiigner is saying. I did look up Anderson .Paak, though. Dude ain’t bad, but he’s no Lil’ D.
