Some Genius Kids Formed A Human Arrow On The Ground To Help A Police Helicopter Find Criminals

Some kids between the ages of 6 and 12 were out on an Easter egg hunt in Capel, Surrey, England when they noticed a National Police Air Service helicopter overhead.

After deducing that the chopper was probably after a couple of ne’er-do-wells they saw scurrying past them were the bad guys they did what any smart group of kids would do: they formed a human arrow on the ground point to the criminals.

The police in the copter then used the kids arrow and a little help from thermal imaging and voila: two busted robbers.

No word on whether once captured if the men said, “And we would have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for those meddling kids.” (Sorry, a little Scooby-Doo humor.)

“I’m sure the last thing the group of daring Capel residents expected when they set out on Friday afternoon was to abandon their Easter egg hunt to assist us in a police search, but the initiative they demonstrated proved to be invaluable,” said Sgt. Paul Sochon. “The swift action taken by the group of parents and their children was the sort of thing you would usually associate with an Enid Blyton adventure but their ingenuity proved a great help for our crews.”

Can you imagine being the guys who got caught in this manner? All the other prisoners coming up to them like, “Aren’t you the dudes who got busted by those kids who made an arrow on the ground?” I’m pretty sure that can’t score you many points in the yard.
