Former Prosecutor Nancy Grace Obnoxiously Defends Steven Avery Guilty Verdict Because Of Course She Would

The insufferable contrarian that is Nancy Grace took unsurprisingly zigged when everyone zagged after seeing the widely-popular Netflix true crime series Making A MurdererThe former prosecutor adamantly defended the Avery guilty verdict, even after our very own JCamm laid out 11 comprehensive case points that suggest that Avery was framed for the murder of 25-year-old Theresa Halbach. It’s almost like Nancy doesn’t read BroBible or something, which to me, is a crime in itself.

Grace interviewed Steven Avery back in 2005, while the search for Halbach’s body was still ongoing, and her belief in his guilt remains stronger than ever over 10 years later.

The TV host made an appearance on CNN Wednesday and believes that Netflix demonstrated a “miscarriage of justice,” even after the rights of Steven Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey were frequently violated in a case that put Avery in a cage for the rest of his life and Dassey until 2048 (when he’ll be 59 years old).

My theory is that Nancy Grace is defending the guilty verdicts because she probably committed the murder herself. Ya, I don’t have the evidence to prove it, but I’ve seen a couple people who’ve been thrown in jail for less.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
