Steven Avery’s little brother Earl has broken his silence to Stephanie Bauer of Access Hollywood since the release of the wildly popular Making a Murderer . Earl, who said he hadn’t seen his brother in over ten years and spoke to him for the first time in years just last week, knit-picked particular aspects of the case, including the lack of blood evidence  found by authorities after a gruesome murder.

A couple weeks back, news broke that Steven implied Earl and his other brother Charles may have committed the crime and Earl chalked this accusation up to pressure from his lawyers and frustration on Steven’s part from their lack of communication in the years following Steven’s imprisonment.

The most alarming part of the video is just how feeble and weak Steven’s father appears. I can’t say I didn’t expect a father to eventually break down after his son has presumably been wrongly imprisoned twice in one lifetime, but its sad to see it came to fruition.

The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
