The Green Bay Packers looked great in the first half of the game, but the New York Giants rallied back to steal a win away in London. There are a lot of questions to be asked about Green Bay, as the franchise hasn’t quite looked like itself so far this season. With that in mind, it sounds like star quarterback Aaron Rodgers is tired of any speculations.
Aaron Rodgers Shuts Down Any And All Speculative Talks
The future Hall of Fame quarterback was quick to nip the butt of any speculation talks in the locker room after the NFL matchup in London. Apparently, someone had asked star cornerback Jaire Alexander about any possible concerns for the defense “if the Packers lose next week.”
According to Nicole Menner, Rodgers voiced his opinion on the matter and completely shut down any notion of responding to a what-if scenario. “Frankly I don’t like all this conversation about losing next week…there was conversation about it in the locker room and I don’t like it.”

Additionally, Rodgers was asked about the current struggles on offense. The Packers haven’t quite looked like themselves as of late. So it’s fair to criticize Aaron Rodgers and the offense. However, he shut down any possible speculation regarding this topic as well, per Nicole Menner.
Original question (from @mattschneidman) was if Rodgers is concerned about the offense yet. He said no.
“I’m a firm believer of the power of words and manifestation and we’ve got to check ourselves on that.”

At the end of the day, it makes sense for Aaron Rodgers to shut down these speculative questions. Why concern yourself with what-if scenarios? Additionally, Green Bay has shown flashes of success in the passing game. However, the young wide receivers need to continue developing their game before the offense can truly take off.
Look for Rodgers and the Packers to possibly get back in the win column in Week 6. They face the New York Jets in Lambeau.
