Austin Reaves Backs Up Claim He’s The NBA’s Best Golfer With Absurd Shot At TopGolf

The NBA is home to some wildly talented players who are also a force to be reckoned with on the golf course, and Austin Reaves made a bold claim earlier this year when he asserted no one else in the league can match his skills on the links. However, he may have a point based on the truly unreal shot he was able to pull off with ease.

If you’ve kept tabs on Steph Curry over the years, you probably know one of the best shooters in basketball history is also a sniper on the course. However, Reaves made it pretty clear he’s not intimidated by his fellow guard in an interview where he implied he’d be down to take part in an edition of The Match that also features the Warriors superstar in the hopes of settling the debate once and for all.

Reaves would theoretically be fighting an uphill battle when you consider he says he has a handicap of around 2 and Curry is not only a scratch golfer but one who boasts a +1.3 handicap. However, the man who signed a four-year, $56 million contract with the Lakers over the summer is certainly no slouch based on a video of him showing off his stuff at TopGolf.

Over the past few months, Reaves has been carving out a niche for himself as a golf influencer on social media via the account dubbed “Hillbilly Bogey.” which he runs with his childhood friend and fellow Arkansas native Trent Swaim.

The duo recently decided to have some fun at TopGolf, and Reaves used the evening as an opportunity to flex a little bit with the help of the left-handed club he picked up before addressing the ball from his right-handed stance and hitting a wildly unorthodox shot that was an absolute thing of beauty.

No one man should have all that talent.
