Ben Simmons just inked an enormous extension with the Philadelphia 76ers that’s worth at least $170 million over the next five years — and could be more with incentives like first-team All-NBA and such. And while the former No. 1 overall pick and Rookie of the Year just got his, Simmons’ younger sister, Liv, wanted to make it be known that her basketball-playing older brother was ready for the next (very rich) chapter in his life.
For some reason, Liv decided to take to Twitter to fire off a ton of tweets directed at Ben Simmons’ ex, Kendall Jenner, who was back in the news the other day after replying to a tweet with her and five other NBA players who she has allegedly been linked to dating. Simmons’ younger sister basically went in on the model and reality star — for whatever reason — so take a look at some of the heat.
For those not all caught up on their celebrity gossip and who’s dating who, Ben Simmons and Kendall Jenner had been together off and on for the past year, but finally called things off back in May. Still, if the tweets from Liv above are any indication, the Sixers star might still be a little bit salty about how things went down — or his sister’s just looking for a catfight with Kendall.
Either way, in a summer when superstars have moved around, players are getting insane amounts of money, including Ben Simmons, and there are even more rumors that the whirlwind might not yet be over, here I am writing about some tweets from an All-Star’s sister to try and rile up a celebrity socialite. Guess it’s the one day where nothing else is going on in the NBA world, and this type of stuff is always pretty entertaining; so let’s see if Kendall replies or not.
