Pop star Taylor Swift is expected to be one of the biggest attractions at the upcoming Super Bowl matchup between the Chiefs and 49ers. There are a few hoops to jump through in order to ensure she makes it to Allegiant Stadium by kickoff, though.

Swift, who’s fresh off a Grammys appearance where she unexpectedly dropped a new album, will continue her worldwide Eras Tour overseas this week.

The night before the NFL’s big game, she’ll be performing in Tokyo. There is definitely a path to make the schedule work, but things still need to fall into place.

Roger Goodell and Co. could have a vested interest in getting her to the game on time, and former quarterback Boomer Esiason suggests that they negotiate with Swift to meet her terms for a successful experience.

That could include paying for her trip across the globe and providing a suite.

More from Awful Announcing:

“You’ve got to know that her people are in touch with the NFL. And her people are probably saying, ‘If you want her at the game you’ve got to pay for the jet coming back from Tokyo. And she needs her own suite.’ I’m telling you, man. This is all about business. How many times are we, CBS, going to show her? And are we going to show an arrival shot?” -Boomer Esiason

Crazy? Maybe, but maybe not.

Taylor Swift is a billionaire that could easily afford to pay her way to Las Vegas to watch Travis Kelce in person, but the NFL might need her more right now than she needs it.

Reports claim that her presence at Chiefs games this season generated a $330M brand value boost for the organization and the league.

What’s a $2.5M suite in exchange for even more access on the biggest stage?

Esiason admits he has no inside knowledge on the situation, it’s just a hunch.

“I think it’s my guess.”

Still, it might not be as crazy as it sounds, and the NFL will do whatever it takes to get her in the stands – with a few cameras nearby, of course.
