Luca Evans of the Los Angeles Times reported that Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon four-star combo guard Bronny James is down to a top three of Ohio State, Oregon and USC. James messaged On3’s Joe Tipton that while he is considering those three programs, his recruitment is still ongoing.

“I’m still open, but those are options,” James told Tipton.

On the same day, it was announced that Bronny would become a McDonald’s All-American.

With all the hype surrounding Bronny, he’s set to make big money in college NIL’s system.

According to ON3’s NIL valuations, Bronny is estimated to make $7.5 million in NIL which is twice as much as Arch Manning is expected to make next year.

Bronny James has yet to even announce where he’ll be playing college basketball, but the oldest son of NBA superstar LeBron James has already emerged as an NIL star. The four-star combo guard in the 2023 recruiting class has signed notable agreements with Beats by Dre, Nike and PSD Underwear. In a commercial for Beats by Dre, he starred alongside his father, who signed with the brand in 2008 as the company’s first athlete brand ambassador.
