Bills fans were again seen throwing snowballs at opposing players in Sunday’s NFL Playoff matchup against the Chiefs. It’s the second straight postseason matchup in which those Buffalo supporters attempted to distract their foes on the field.

Many around the NFL want some sort of repercussion, viewing the practice as both unsportsmanlike and dangerous. Should the Bills be flagged for the actions of their fans?

It’s a question that arose in the opening round of the playoffs when Buffalo faced off against the Steelers.

Highmark Stadium was hit by a snowstorm the week of the postseason matchup, leading to a one-day postponement. The franchise was able to clean up the field – with the help of Bills Mafia – but it was impossible to remove every bit of precipitation from the venue seats.

Attendees were seen plodding through the snow as they looked to find their seats during the pregame.

Later in the action, that same snowfall was being used as prop with fans throwing snowballs in the direction of Diontae Johnson and George Pickens as they attempted to come down with receptions in the endzone.

A win over Pittsburgh set up a showdown between Buffalo and Kansas City, and the fans were back at it!

In the first half of action, snowballs rained down at Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the endzone.

Many on social media immediately commented.

“This is dangerous and unfair.”

“So, the NFL is just going to let Bills fans throw snowballs into the end zone in the middle of plays like this? C’mon.”

“They’ve got to start flagging the Bills for their fans throwing snowballs at players during live action.”

“They need to kick fans who throw snowballs out.”

The NFL world believes Buffalo is taking homefield advantage overboard, calling for some sort of punishment. It will be interesting to see if the league intervenes in some fashion.
