Caitlin Clark doesn’t appear to get much respect from her WNBA colleagues.
On July 25th, Clark will start in the WNBA All-Star game.
A mix of fan votes, media votes, and WNBA player votes determines the WNBA All-Star starters. Fans account for 50% of the vote, while players and the media each account for 25%.
While Clark ranked highly among fans and the media, WNBA players ranked her the 11th-best guard in the league.

Caitlin Clark is 2nd in the WNBA in assists per game and T-4th in points per game.
A year ago, her fellow players ranked her as the 9th best guard in the league.
This year, they dropped her to 11th.

WNBA players snubbing Clark received immediate backlash from fans.
“WNBA teams do not guard Clark like she’s the 11th best guard in the league,” commented one fan.
“they should just remove the players votes next year, they’re more biased than the fans it’s embarrassing,” said another fan.
