Cederian Morgan has been at Alabama for less than five months. Technically speaking, he just graduated high school.
It sure doesn’t look like it!!
The true freshman wide receiver is built like a brick house. His college football career is only just beginning.
Who is Cederian Morgan?
Cederian Morgan was rated as a five-star prospect in the recruiting Class of 2026. He was the second-ranked pass-catcher in his class, the second-ranked player in the Yellowhammer State and the 15th-ranked player in the country.
The monstrous wide receiver played for Benjamin Russell High School in Alexander City, Alabama. It always seemed like he was going to end up in Tuscaloosa but that did not stop other programs from trying. Morgan received 31 scholarship offers from schools like Colorado, Florida, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Penn State, Oregon, Ohio State, Indiana and others.
He could’ve gone anywhere. Any coaching staff in the country would’ve been thrilled to have him.
In the end, Morgan chose the Tide. Kalen DeBoer and Ryan Grubb landed a powerful weapon who plays with unmatched horsepower. There is still a lot of room for growth, especially in terms of how he runs his routes and gets separation, but his ability to accelerate at his size cannot be taught. The physical tools are intangible. (Well, actually, they are very tangible…)
Morgan caught 82 passes for more than 1,432 yards with 16 touchdowns as a senior. His tape is insane.
Just look at this catch:

And not only is Morgan a football star, he is a multi-sport athlete who averaged a double-double (!!) on the hardwood, ran 21.74 in the 200-meter and won a silver medal in the high jump. Freaky stuff.
Alabama’s new wide receiver is built like Julio Jones.
Cederian Morgan was listed at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds on his recruiting profile. The Crimson Tide listed him at 223 pounds on the spring football roster. He enrolled at the University of Alabama in January and added ~13 pounds of muscle to his frame. It shows!
Morgan recently shared this photo on Instagram:

That is an 18-year-old true freshman!!
Morgan made a few big plays during the spring game in April. It looks like he is going to play a big role in the offense during his first year with the program. Ryan Coleman-Williams was impressed by his new teammate.
“He’s a dog. Day in and day out. Just the culture in the room, it brings a high intensity. We expect the best out of each other. But we’re here to have fun. It’s a child’s game, and whenever you gave fun, that’s when the plays like he had today, the plays like our entire room has, you don’t see the ball on the ground.”
The star pass-catcher even gave his new positionmate a new nickname.
“Just to see him continue to stack days and stack days, we call him the Gulf of Mexico. You throw it in there, he’s going to catch it. He’s got plenty of space.”
If this is what Morgan looks like after just a few months in Tuscaloosa, I don’t even want to know what kind of shape he will be in after a full summer of workouts. SEC defensive backs beware.
