Deion Sanders has something cooking in Colorado as he continues to try and build a program that can compete in the PAC-12. The first-year head coach is in the midst of flipping the roster, and he’s already making waves on the recruiting trail.

The Buffs got good news on Thursday with a five-star recruit locking in a visit. Cornerback Charles Lester III will soon be taking a trip to Boulder.

Many have been critical of Coach Prime for his drastic roster management practices. Since taking over the team, he’s seen upwards of 50 players on the Colorado roster enter the transfer portal this offseason.

While he claims to already have a list of high-profile replacements waiting to commit, there are those who remain skeptical.

Still, there’s no denying his abilities as a recruiter. Sanders was able to convince a number of notable players to join him at Jackson State, including No. 1 overall player Travis Hunter.

He followed it up by landing the nation’s top defender in his first cycle with the Buffaloes in Cormani McClain.

Both of those players had offers from every school in the country, and both were predicted to attend major programs in their home state of Florida.

In the end, each followed Deion.

Now, fans think history will repeat itself with another five-star defensive back.

This week, Charles Lester III out of Sarasota, FL locked in a visit to Boulder. The corner is considered a top 30 player by 24/7 Sports, coming in as the nation’s No. 3 CB.

Most have predicted Lester to land at Florida State. In fact, On3 Sports’ prediction machine lists his chances of suiting up for the Seminoles at 91%.

At 24/7, he’s received 100% of the crystal ball predictions.

Many college football fans are already hinting at another five-star theft for Deion Sanders.

We’ll see how it works out for the Seminoles.

Sanders, an FSU alum, seems to have a target on his old school.

Florida State fans are having PTSD.

Drama is brewing on the recruiting trail.
