Referee Jeffrey Anderson has been a busy man in the month of January. The official has called 14 college basketball games in the last 15 days, making stops in every region of the country.

That includes 10 days straight between January 9th and 18th, officiating games in the SEC, ACC, PAC 12, and Big Ten.

His travel since the start of the new year has been insane. It started with a January 2nd contest in Wisconsin with the Badgers and Iowa kicking off conference play.

Since, he’s made a stop at Tulsa before heading off for a B1G weekend in the Midwest. Purdue, Indiana, and Northwestern were on the docket, then, he was off again!

After a day of rest, he made his way to the West Coast. Anderson made a stop in Las Vegas for UNLV vs. New Mexico, spent two days in California, headed back to Nevada, then back to the Golden State.

Without a day to recover, he returned to the Midwest then hit the East Coast.

Anderson was involved in a bit of controversy during a game between NC State and Wake Forest, a game that saw a number of technical fouls and a head coach ejection.

It’s safe to say Wolfpack players weren’t exactly happy with how that game was officiated.

After that, Anderson was in Nashville for a Wednesday night affair at Vanderbilt, and on Thursday, he was in Florida for a matchup between FAU and Wichita State.

That incredibly taxing schedule can be seen below.

For those keeping count at home, that’s 9,200 miles – in a half-month!

We’ll see if the official takes a day or two off over the second half of January. To keep track of Jeffrey Anderson’s whereabouts, follow the @highkneesref account on X.
