Dan Orlovsky has become one of the most well-known and respected NFL analysts in the world during his time at ESPN, but the worldwide leader in sports could see him leave the network.

The former NFL quarterback joined ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ on Monday to reflect on the Rams’ win over the Bengals in the Super Bowl. While the two talked about the game, they also talked about what Orlovsky has planned now that the NFL season is complete.

Orlovsky broke the news that his deal with ESPN is up, which got quite the reaction out of McAfee and company.

“I’m going to enjoy the free agency world, the Springtime, the NFL Draft, and my deal is up,” Orlovsky explained.

ESPN undoubtedly wants to re-sign Orlovsky. He’s a co-host on the popular ‘NFL Live’ show and is a regular guest on both ‘First Take’ with Stephen A. Smith as well as ‘Get Up.’

The thing is, ESPN could have some competition for his signature.

FOX Sports would be dumb not to at least talk with Orlovsky about joining the network, plus you have Amazon stepping into the sports broadcasting and NFL world in a major way. Amazon certainly has the type of money to get anybody they want to jump on board.

According to Bobby Burack of Outkick, sources say that Orlovsky has support from top ESPN executives and is a favorite of Stephen A. Smith’s, which at ESPN goes a very long way. However, other networks, including the previously mentioned Amazon, are interested in swooping in and snagging Orlovsky.
