Deion Sanders Throws His Offense Directly Under Bus With Hilarious Comparison To Terrible Chefs

Deion Sanders is not afraid to speak his mind and call things how he sees them. Even if it comes at the expense of his own team.

He called out five-star freshman Cormani McClain, who has not seen much playing time, with a blunt message during a press conference earlier this week. And then he most recently called out his offensive line and running backs!

Colorado faces its biggest test of the season so far on Saturday. No. 8 USC and reigning Heisman Trophy-winner Caleb Williams will roll into Boulder as 21.5-point favorites. It is the largest spread against the Buffaloes through the first five weeks of the Coach Prime era.

To beat the Trojans, the Colorado offense will need to out-pace the top scoring offense in the country. Shedeur Sanders attempted 47 passes against TCU, 42 against Nebraska, 47 against Colorado State and 33 against Oregon. He will have to throw just as much, if not more, this weekend.

Deion Sanders doesn’t trust the run game.

On the flip side, the Buffaloes have struggled to run the ball. They average less than 60 yards per game on the ground with just four rushing touchdowns on 117 attempts.

Although Coach Prime might want to put a larger emphasis on the run game, he can’t. The offensive line has been unable to get much push. The running backs have nowhere to go.

When asked about how he will game plan for USC, Sanders made it abundantly clear that he cannot trust his offense to run the ball. As for whether he can commit to the run game, Coach Prime offered a hilarious comparison.

That’s like asking your wife if you’re committed to a good meal every night and she can’t cook. We’ve got to be able to cook the meal before we can commit to it!

Pow pow! Shots fired… at his own team!

Sanders is not afraid to chirp his own players for poor performance. If they are not doing enough to allow him (and offensive coordinator Sean Lewis) to run the ball, then he will let everybody know.

It is not a secret that Colorado can’t run the ball. It is rather unique to see a head coach call out his own players with a joke.
