Last night, we brought you the story of Washington’s quarterback, Robert Griffin III, seemingly throwing some shade at his teammates.
Great quarterbacks, the Peytons, the Aaron Rodgers, those guys don’t play well if their guys don’t play well. They don’t.
Ooof. Some felt his words were alright, given the context of the entire quote. I don’t. Accurate as it is, it’s still something a quarterback shouldn’t say. Always take the high road, ya know?
Of course, this being Washington, it was obvious this would sprawl out of control. It may already have, as one of Griffin’s receivers, DeSean Jackson, had this to say on Instagram.
Perhaps he’s showing solidarity with his quarterback?
I’m gonna guess no.
