NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has had enough of Draymond Green’s antics. He has suspended the Golden State Warriors forward indefinitely following yet another incident involving the star.

The suspension was announced on Wednesday evening, a day after a clear cheap shot by Draymond Green.

In Wednesday’s 119–116 Warriors loss to the Suns, Draymond Green flung his arm back and struck Suns’ big man Jusuf Nurkic right in the face.

Green tried to play it off like he was attempting to sell a foul. But, that’s the boy who cried wolf, in a sense. Green’s track record is simply too convincing.

Even before this incident, the hot-tempered forward has been suspended five times before, including earlier this year for trying to choke Rudy Gobert.

That incident got the commissioner’s attention, and he got a five-game suspension. Suspensions that long are typically reserved for pretty serious incidents.

That leads us to today’s indefinite suspension. Not only did Silver suspend him, but he’s making Green attend counseling and satisfy other criteria in order to return to play.

Adam Silver set up a similar situation for Kyrie Irving last year after he was suspended indefinitely for actions the league office deemed to be antisemitic.

On the season, the four-time All-Star is averaging 9.7 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.5 rebounds per game. The Warriors are off to a poor start, as they sit at 10-13 heading into Draymond Green’s indefinite suspension.
