Someone Made Logos For Every NHL Team Reimagined As Local Businesses And They’re Actually Pretty Sick

The NFL preseason kicks off across the league tonight. College football gets started at the end of the month. After that, hockey’s just around the corner but it still seems like a lifetime away.

We are 55 days away from the start of the 2018-2019 NHL season. After the initial surge of Free Agency signings and trades, the offseason in hockey gets pretty damn boring.

I read a headline this morning that said the Stanley Cup was in Denmark for the first time thanks to Lars Eller. That’s what passes for news in the NHL offseason.

Thankfully, there are some incredibly creative NHL fans out there who spend the offseason tinkering in the world of what ifs.

In this instance, one Redditor by the name of Plaineman has created mockups for every NHL team and reimagined their logo as if they were businesses.

So in the case of the Nashville Predators, they’re actually ‘Predator Spaghetti’. The St. Louis Blues are actually a Blues music bar, etc. You can see the complete gallery here on Imgur but I’ve got ahead and pulled some of the best for you to check out:

It’s amazing that I’m so excited about these. That’s how badly I want the 2018-2019 NHL season to get started again. But they’re pretty awesome, aren’t they? I’m not crazy. I swear.

I don’t know why but this reminded me of a video I posted last week. This comedian runs through a ‘Stuff NHL Fans Say’ style video where they break down every NHL fan in the 2018 offseason in 90 seconds. Check it out.

Do you have $16.8 million sitting around? You can purchase NHL legend Mario Lemieux’s absurd mansion in Quebec.

Want to see something pretty nasty? This Caps player had his finger sliced off and reattached during the Stanley Cup Finals.

Didn’t see your team? You can check out the full gallery right here on Imgur.
