Hilarious Andy Reid Quote Confirms He Likes Big Butts And He Cannot Lie

What do Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid and rapper Sir Mix-A-Lot have in common?

Well, for one, they’re both absolute legends in their respective fields.

But more pointedly, Reid, like Mr. Mix-A-Lot, likes big butts and he cannot lie.

Josh Kendall of The Athletic published a story on Thursday that talked about the importance of a large posterior when it comes to scouting NFL Draft prospects.

While it may sound silly, an NFL prospect’s thiccness can go a long way toward telling scouts how powerful and explosive they are through the lower half.

So, where does Reid come in?

Enter former Pro Bowl punter Dustin Colquitt, who played for the Chiefs from 2005-2019 and under Reid for seven seasons.

Colquitt recalled a story about one of his end-of-season exit interviews with Reid, and about how important it was to Reid that Colquitt remained double-cheeked up.

“He’d sit down with me and be like, ‘You went to the Pro Bowl, and we don’t have much to say to you. But don’t lose your butt. Punters have to have big butts. As soon as you start to look like you’re going downhill from a physique standpoint, you’re out of here. Keep that a– going.’”

Andy Reid is down with the thiccness. He’s bamboozled by the booty. Into the hind end.

Simply put: Andy Reid is an a– man.

At least, when it comes to football players.

We cannot speak on the future Pro Football Hall of Famer’s personal preferences when it comes to partners. But one would think it would translate, right?!

And Reid’s not wrong about punters with donks.

Go take a look at Pat McAfee and Shane Lechler in their playing days.

The fellas were dragon a wagon.

Colquitt road that advice all the way to a long and successful career. And Reid has undoubtedly helped many other players with the same tip.
