Word on the street is that billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is one of the favorites to purchase the Washington Commanders from Daniel Snyder.

Jerry Jones doesn’t think Daniel Snyder is serious about selling the Washington Commanders and Snyder reportedly won’t sell the Commanders to any group involving Jeff Bezos (for a petty reason), but that’s the word.

Monday morning, during an interview on CNN, Bezos was asked about the possibility of him buying the Commanders.

“Yes, I’ve heard that buzz,” said a grinning Bezos.

“I do like football. I’m just going to throw that out there for everyone,” his girlfriend Lauren Sanchez added.

“I grew up in Houston, Texas, and I played football growing up as a kid … and it is my favorite sport … so we’ll just have to wait and see,” Bezos continued.

But did Jeff Bezos ever score four touchdowns in a single game?

Jeff Bezos just gave $100 million to Dolly Parton for charity work

Bezos and Peggy, I mean Sanchez, also talked about how they recently gave away $100 million dollars of his money to Dolly Parton for her charitable work.

Parton received the gigantic monetary gift for winning the the bathroom aficionado’ annual Courage and Charities Award.

“Look at what she’s done and how she’s led her life and the way she’s done it, bold things all with civility and kindness,” Bezos told CNN. “You have to work together. We have too many examples in the world of conflict and people using attacks on social media and so on and so so. You won’t find Dolly Parton doing that.”

“When you think of Dolly, everyone smiles,” Sanchez chimed in. “She just wants to bring light into other people’s world, that’s all. We couldn’t have thought of someone better than to give this award to Dolly.”

He claims he will be giving away the majority of his wealth within his lifetime. Wonder where he got that idea?
