Jordan Addison has a decision to make over the course of the next few days/weeks/months. The rising junior wide receiver officially entered the transfer portal earlier this month and is set to make an immediate impact at whichever program he chooses.

Addison is the reigning Biletnikoff Award winner, given to the best pass-catcher in college football. At the end of April, a report surfaced about his future that set off a wild chain reaction.

The 20-year-old, former four-star recruit was reportedly set to transfer from Pittsburgh to USC on a massive deal for his Name, Image and Likeness. Not long thereafter, his name officially appeared in the transfer portal.

Considering that Addison has already turned down a high six-figure deal to transfer to an SEC East program, an expensive bidding war is expected to unfold. It certainly didn’t help Pittsburgh’s case to keep him that the quarterback, offensive coordinator and positions coach from a year ago are all gone.

Regardless of what factors into the decision, Addison is gone. His list of suitors is pretty lengthy.

Of them, USC, Alabama and Texas are at the top. Barring an unforeseen change of heart, one of those three schools will get Addison’s commitment.

Even though the initial report suggested that the Trojans were slated to get Jordan Addison, he took a visit to Texas this week.

Addison posted a photo from Austin on Tuesday. However, the photo he posted raised significant concerns about his decision-making. Not really, but if you know, you know.

From what appeared to be his hotel room, Addison posted a photo of his lunch. He stopped at Raising Cane’s— which is a great idea — and ordered the Caniac Combo — also a great idea.

The Caniac Combo comes with six chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, two Cane’s sauces, Texas toast and a large fountain drink or tea. It’s a good order.

Raising Cane’s veterans know that there is one tweak to take it from good to great. The trick is to replace the coleslaw with a second piece of toast.

In other words: “Caniac, no slaw, extra toast.”

Maybe this was Addison’s first time at Cane’s. They don’t have many, if any, restaurants in the DMV or Pittsburgh area. Maybe he didn’t know.

But the mistake is inexcusable. And if he went with Texas’ staff, then it raises even bigger concerns about the program that is being run down there in Austin.
