Jordan Spieth’s Ryder Cup Shoes Are Patriotic AF, And Best Of All, We Can Cop A Pair For Ourselves

Do you have Ryder Cup fever yet? If you don’t these patriotic new Speith 2 limited edition golf shoes Under Armour made for, well, Jordan Speith (duh) to wear during the Ryder Cup over in France might just do it.

After all, what red-blooded American doesn’t get emotionally involved in any event where chants of “USA! USA! USA!” could break out spontaneously at any given moment? No American, that’s who.

Jordan Spieth was just two months old the last time Team USA won the Ryder Cup on European soil, when Tom Watson led the Americans to a 15-13 victory over Europe in England.

“Most of the time you’re competing against these guys, so it’s really fun to come together as teammates,” said Spieth. “That camaraderie is part of what makes watching team sports so electrifying, and for golf to have a ‘team-sport’ moment like this is really special.”

To celebrate Spieth’s third career appearance in the tournament, Under Armour has released a limited-edition Spieth 2 in a red, white and blue colorway for the major champion to sport in Paris.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be representing Team USA this year. To be able to compete in the Ryder Cup for a third time is an honor and, beyond that, this is an event format I really look forward to,” added Spieth. “When you’re representing your country, it brings this added energy that you can feel on the green and I’m sure in the grandstands and also watching from home.”

The UA Spieth 2 features GORE-TEX construction for 100% waterproof protection, an upper made of ultra-durable and lightweight TPU fibers, and the distinct red thread on this special colorway maps out where additional support is placed.

“USA! USA! USA!”
