Justin Thomas may have been busy winning the PGA Championship this week, his second of his career, but he clearly still had time to keep up with the drama going on between Nick Saban and Jimbo Fisher.

Thomas, who played golf at Alabama for a couple of years before turning pro, is a diehard Crimson Tide fan. So, when Fisher takes shots at Saban, Thomas is going to take shots at Fisher.

The two-time major winner joined PGA Tour radio on Monday and was asked if he has any sort of “rule” he follows when it comes to celebrating a win. Thomas said he subscribes to Saban’s 24-hour rule, where he gives himself a full day off before getting back to work.

In his explanation, he took a dig at Fisher.

“Yeah I’ve got a 24-hour rule,” Thomas explained. “I’m not sure what Jimbo Fisher’s rule is, but I guess he’s got to win something first before he figures out his rule.”

Saban Calls Out A&M, Fisher Calls Saban A Narcissist

For anyone that’s been living off the grid for the past week or so, Saban recently started quite the drama between Fisher and himself.

Saban went on a lengthy rant about NIL and the state of college football while accusing A&M of buying all of their players.

Fisher wasted zero time in clapping back at Saban, calling him a “narcissist” during his press conference the very next day.

“We never bought anybody, no rules were broken, nothing was done wrong. The way we do things, the ethics of the way we do things, and these families, it’s despicable that a reputable head coach can come out and say this when he doesn’t get his way.”

“The narcissist in him doesn’t allow those things to happen, and it’s ridiculous when he’s not on top. The parody he’s talking about in college football, go talk to coaches who coached for him, you’ll find out all the parody. Go dig into wherever he’s been, you can find out anything.”

The drama between Alabama and Texas A&M is at an all-time high, and JT is just doing his part in throwing a bit more gas on the raging fire.
