On a recent episode of 83 Weeks, the conversation turned to Ken Shamrock during a review of a classic episode of Monday Night Raw.
Former WCW President and current executive director of “SmackDown Live,” Eric Bischoff, told host Conrad Thompson that he ran into the former UFC and WWE champion at an autograph show and said the 55-year-old looked just as jacked as ever.
Shamrock is apparently in such amazing shape that a return to the ring might be eminent. It looks like “the world’s most dangerous man” will be wrestling for Impact.
Impact announced in front of a United Kingdom crowd that Shamrock would be returning for the next set of tapings at Sam’s Town Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada, to confront 2-time Impact Grand Champion, Moose.
The signing is in response to Moose and Shamrock trading trash-talk on Twitter as of late.
Hottest star in Pro Wrestling? @TheMooseNation I speak for everyone when I tell you, that you are a Nasal Strip away & short 75% of the talent, from being the next Ahmed Johnson. But I’ll show you what will happen if you keep running your mouth… https://t.co/Gh8a4DO57C pic.twitter.com/QydvnCcexV

Bold statement from a man who wears a tie dye romper. You want to come at me? I’ll drop you faster than a worthless offensive tackle in the off-season! Let me make some calls, Ill see if I can give you the feeling you’ve been missing since you left the NFL. https://t.co/oq1XnCQeQc

Shamrock never officially retired from in-ring competition. He’s remained active for the last few years, recently appearing in the Battle Championship Wrestling fed in Melbourne, Australia in November 2018.
The Macon, Georgia, native is a former WWE Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion, the 1998 King Of The Ring winner and the first NWA TNA World Heavyweight Champion.
This will be his third stint with TNA/Impact wrestling since 2002.
