When Kendall Jenner and Devin Booker broke up back in June of last year, NBA fans had all sorts of comical reactions.
Many assumed that since Jenner was no longer with Booker that the Phoenix Suns would go on to win the NBA championship in 2023, thanks to the “Kardashian Curse” being lifted.
So far, so good, as the Suns and Booker, free from the distractions of the Kardashian clan, have moved on and will play the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals starting on Saturday.
The so-called curse has followed Kendall Jenner as she has been linked to numerous NBA players over the years including Booker, Ben Simmons, Kyle Kuzma, D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson, Blake Griffin, and Chandler Parsons.

Jenner has openly spoken about how much she dislikes being blamed for the failures of her NBA beaus in the past. Her sisters have also been blamed as they have at one time or another been linked to athletes like Reggie Bush, Miles Austin, Kris Humphries, Rashad McCants, Lamar Odom, James Harden, and Tristan Thompson.
During a Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion in 2021, Kendall said, “What I don’t like about this narrative is that the blame is on us. Like, I think that they need to put the — the men need to take that responsibility, you know what I mean?”
Jenner continued, “I think that we’re all extremely giving and caring and loving women. And, when there is a man in our lives we like, give everything to them and as a family, we all love them so much.”
Kim Kardashian, Kylie and Kris Jenner all agreed with her.
“Factually it doesn’t add up,” Kendall added.
Fast forward to this week and apparently, Kim Kardashian also now wants to get on the fun as she was spotted in the season 3 trailer of The Kardashians rocking a black “Kendall Starting Five” t-shirt.
Featured on the shirt, which is apparently available on Etsy, are images of Devin Booker, Blake Griffin, Ben Simmons, Jordan Clarkson and Kyle Kuzma.
“That is the most older sibling thing I have ever seen,” one person on TikTok commented.
Gotta love it.
