LeBron James has so many stats that are absolutely mind-numbing. That’s what happens when you’re one of the league’s greatest and most consistent players who have played more total minutes, including playoffs, than any player in NBA history.

One of LeBron’s coolest streaks came to an end tonight, as he didn’t get a rebound for the first time in over thirteen years as the Lakers were blown out by the Sixers, 138-94.

That is truly incredible. To put it in perspective, 1,097 games is almost three-times as long as the average career of an NBA player. In November 2010, Luka Dončić was 11-years-old, Steph Curry was in his second season, and Steve Kerr was still an analyst on TNT.

James, who broke the NBA’s all-time scoring record last season, is in his 21st season since he came into the NBA as the first-overall pick of the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003 with ridiculously high expectations. Somehow, he has exceeded those expectations to become, at worst, a top-two player in the history of basketball.

And, even in a remarkable 21st season, he remains one of the league’s best players. James is averaging 25.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists with superb shooting numbers of 56% from the floor and just under 40% from three-point range. The four-time NBA champion reached the Western Conference Finals last year with the Nuggets and is hoping the Lakers, who sit at 10-8, can make a deeper run and possibly get him his fifth championship next June.
