All anyone who roots for the Detroit Lions wants to talk about his week is how they believe their team got hosed at the end of Saturday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

The referee who was involved in the controversial call, Brad Allen, claimed offensive lineman Taylor Decker didn’t report as an illegible receiver leading to the Lions two-point conversion being called back.

Decker says that he did report and it sure sounded like referee announced him as eligible during the broadcast of the game.

Two days later, the NFL reportedly blamed the Lions for sending multiple players to the referee while trying to trick the Cowboys about which player was eligible, confusing the officials.

Regardless of who was at fault, Detroit Lions fans believe they got screwed.

In fact, they are so sure that the referees got it wrong that some anonymous Lions fans have purchased billboards in Detroit expressing that sentiment.

Photos shared by Jeanna Trotman of WXYZ in Detroit show two billboards recently posted along Detroit highways which state they were “PFB (paid for by) ANONYMOUS DONOR.”

On one of the billboards, it simply reads, “Decker Reported.”

On the other billboard, the Lions’ record on the season, 11-5, is crossed out and replaced with 12-4.

“Detroit, never change,” Trotman wrote. “There are several of these billboards around metro Detroit along I-75 and 696.”

Numerous Lions fans on social media (as well as fans of other NFL teams) love the pettiness.

“As a Cowboys fan, that’s kinda awesome lol,” another fan wrote.

“Best fans in the NFL,” someone else commented.

“This is actually the best use of billboards,” read another comment.

“Whoever did this, you are my hero! Just tell me where to send my money so this can keep going! #OnePride,” another Lions fan wrote.

This week, that same officiating crew (which has been under scrutiny all season) will make its way to Baltimore for the Ravens’ Saturday afternoon game versus the Steelers.
