Lonzo Ball Completely Changed His Bad Shooting Form And It’s Inspired NBA Twitter

“I’m controlling everything now, you really can’t tell me what to do. It’s my life, my career. I’m making all the decisions now.”

Lonzo Ball is distancing himself from his daddy, a man who referred to him as “damaged goods.” The Pelicans guard effectively abandoned the brand after Alan Foster, one of the company’s co-founders, allegedly ripped off the Big Baller Brand to the tune of around $1.5 million. He’s even went as far to reveal that his $495 Big Baller Brand Signature ZO2 shoes kept exploding on him during games.

Arguably nothing needed more of an overhaul than Ball’s bizarre shooting form. The 21-year-old previously began his shot at the left side of his body, and came across to the right before releasing, a form that often garnered these results.

The Pelicans posted a video to their Twitter account showing a completely modified shooting form that looks more like something you’d expect from a number two overall pick.

Another angle:

Lonzo spoke about his improved shooting form, saying, “I think it’s just confidence. I’ve been shooting my whole life, so I need to just get back to putting the ball in the hole.”

The internet took notice.

In the end, we talkin’ bout practice. If Lonzo was smart, he’d be attached to the hip to new teammate JJ Redick.
