Mark Zuckerberg just dominated his first-ever jiu-jitsu competition after putting in the hard work training with the Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu.

In his very first set of competitive Jiu-Jitsu matches, the billionaire Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg took home a gold, silver, and bronze medal.

Zuck announced his achievement on Sunday with an Instagram post thanking his Bay Area Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu trainers for helping him achieve this milestone.

After some digging, Zuckerberg’s first-ever Jiu-Jitsu competition appears to have been the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tour, Silicon Valley held at Woodside High School, which was held on Saturday, May 6th.

In a savvy move, Zuckerberg appears to have entered the competition using his first and middle name, Mark Elliott (Zuckerberg) so as not to cause a media frenzy when someone spotted his name on the entrant’s list.

Mark Elliot Zuckerberg finished 1st and took home a gold medal in the ‘Master 1 – White Belt – Feather’ category, beating Vijay Hanumantha Raju of Alliance San Francisco. He won his silver medal in the Master 2 – White Belt – Feather category against gold medalist Jeff Ibrahim of Ralph Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.

It is unclear which Jiu-Jitsu event Mark Zuckerberg won his bronze medal in because the competition’s website only shares results for 1st and 2nd place finishes but this is a HECK OF A SHOWING for the billionaire big wave surfer in his first Jiu-Jitsu competition.

After announcing his achievement on Instagram, his comments were flooded by his followers. They wrote:

“Jesus Christ it’s Jason Bourne.”

“Zuck vs Tom Hardy PPV let’s do it.”

Mark would easily take Elon after this training.

“Mark vs Elon who wants to see this happen?”

Someone joked about how there were contestants who looked at the competition sheet and realized “Hey man your next match is against Mark Zuckerburg.”

Another person joked “Imagine joining a jiu-jitsu tournament and your opponent is Zuck.”

It is wild that someone out there might’ve been competing in their own first-ever Jiu-Jitsu tournament and they faced billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, one of the most famous people on planet earth.

Congrats, Zuck. Hopefully, we see some more gold medals from him on the circuit.

Tom Hardy dominated a Jiu-Jitsu competition last September. It remains to be seen if these two global icons have ever met and discussed the sport but the Internet would LOVE to see them training together.
