Over the past few years, Nikola Jokic has cemented himself as one of the most talented players (if not the most talented) in the NBA. He’s also sneaky one of the most entertaining guys in the league thanks to his patently dry sense of humor, and he showed it off once again by hijacking a postage press conference and doing the media’s job for them.

On Monday night, the Denver Nuggets hosted the Pelicans for a showdown where the home team walked away with a decisive 134-116 victory.

You won’t be shocked to learn Nikola Jokic was the star of the contest, as he posted a game-high 35 points and added 14 rebounds and 12 assists for the 108th triple-double of his career, which puts him fourth on the all-time list after surpassing Jason Kidd and LeBron James in that particular category.

The Nuggets also got some help off of the bench from Julian Strawther, as the rookie guard stepped up to record a career-high 21 points in the 19 minutes he played.

At the risk of taking a shot at the reporters who cover the NBA for a living, most people know what kinds of questions we can expect them to ask when they get the chance to chat with players after a game.

Jokic has certainly had his fair share of experience with those sessions, and when he got his latest opportunity to sit down in front of the microphone, he informed the journalists in attendance he was going to streamline the process a bit before asking himself a few questions about Starwther’s performance, Denver’s ability to pull away in the third quarter, and his triple-double achievement.

While he may have addressed some of the most pressing topics at hand, he still fielded a few questions from the crowd before wrapping things up.

Jokic may lead us to believe he doesn’t actually like basketball that much despite being one of the best players on the planet, but I don’t know how you can’t like him.
