Ticket prices for the upcoming rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan have reached record-setting highs. As anticipation grows, so too does the cost of attendance.
In fact, Forbes says that this is the most expensive regular season game in over a decade.
Tickets on the secondary market to Ohio State University’s away game against the University of Michigan on Saturday set the record for the most expensive regular season college football game in at least a decade, according to data from ticket sales company TicketiQ, though it falls well behind the most expensive college football game ever.
Ticket IQ has the get-in price on the secondary market set at $644. The average price of the matchup rises to $1,695.

Those ticket prices reflect one of the most anticipated Ohio State-Michigan games on record. For the second straight season, both teams enter the rivalry matchup with spotless 11-0 records.
Not only is a Big Ten Championship Game appearance on the line, but the contest will have College Football Playoff implications, too. Both programs made the CFP field last year, but the race at the top this season is a bit tighter.
With a number of undefeated and one-loss Power Five teams still in contention, the loser of this year’s matchup could be on the outside looking in come selection time.
Michigan is hoping to pick up its third consecutive win in the series but will have to do so without Jim Harbaugh in attendance. The Wolverines head coach will finish serving his three-game suspension tied to a sign stealing scandal.
Harbaugh might not be on hand for this year’s rivalry, but those looking to make an appearance at Michigan Stadium will have to pay a pretty penny.
