Oklahoma really did that. In the 117th meeting of the Red River Showdown, the Sooners came back from a 21-point deficit to take down the Texas Longhorns in walk-off fashion.

Things got out to a slow start for the the visitors. They fell behind 28-7 after the first quarter and quarterback Spencer Rattler was benched in favor of Caleb Williams.

Williams did what has literally never been done before and led the largest comeback in the rivalry’s history. Facing an 11-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter, the Sooners turned it on and scored 25 points to the Longhorns’ seven.

The final touchdown, of course, was the most exciting.

Oklahoma got the ball back with one minute and 13 seconds remaining. A few downfield passes and a run later, Lincoln Riley called a timeout with 10 seconds left.

It was a tie game and the Sooners had the ball at the Texas 34-yard-line. If they handed the ball off, they could call their final timeout and kick a game winning field goal.

As it would turn out, Kennedy Brooks had other plans and took the handoff 33 yards for a touchdown. It ended up being the game-winner and it was electric.

However, as exciting as it was on ABC, it was even more exhilarating on Oklahoma’s Spanish broadcast. Take a listen:

What is your favorite part? Mine is “Sooners, sí señor!” followed by that incredible rolled R.

“KENNEDY BROOKS, YOU ARE THE MAN! GRACIAS!”

Thank you is right. What a call. What a finish.
