Paul Finebaum isn’t one to sugarcoat things, his honesty, whether you agree with the opinion at hand or not, is what makes Finebaum, Finebaum.

Having said that, it should come as no surprise that Finebaum had quite the opinion about Urban Meyer being fired by the Jaguars on Thursday.

Finebaum joined ‘Keyshawn, JWill & Max’ on Thursday morning and was asked if Meyer would ever coach again. He made it clear that he knew this was going to be a disaster from the get-go, and he was absolutely right.

Not only did Finebaum elect to go for the jugular of Meyer with his response, he even threw some shade at Jags’ owner Shad Khan, who Finebaum claims doesn’t have any common sense.

“If anyone wants to write a speculative piece about where could Urban end up, the answer is nowhere,” Finebaum stated. “This man is dead professionally and he did it to himself. You can talk about the most spectacular flameout in NFL or coaching history, but it was easily predictable.”

“I don’t know how Shad Khan became a billionaire not being able to listen to common sense. He could have called any of us or anyone else with a sensibility and told him exactly what would happen.”

To say the Meyer experiment in Jacksonville was a disaster would be putting it lightly.

Meyer already had a laundry list of bad moments before he even took the job and certainly added to it in a hurry during his time in Jacksonville.

There was the infamous bar video with Meyer grinding with a woman that wasn’t his wife. He reportedly called his assistant coaches losers and lied about his confrontation with Marvin Jones Jr. Then, most recently, he allegedly kicked Josh Lambo. There were even more bad decisions on top of all of those.
