Following the Las Vegas Raiders’ brutal Monday Night Football defeat at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs, star wide receiver Davante Adams — who some believe is beginning to regret leaving Green Bay — was seen on camera shoving an unsuspecting cameraman who was simply trying to get out of his way.

Stephen A. Smith blasts Davante Adams for shoving an innocent cameraman following the Raiders’ Monday Night Football loss to the Chiefs

Immediately after the incident, ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith hopped on Twitter to blast Adams for the shove and virtually begged him to apologize.

“Damn Davante Adams! Damn! We can only imagine the frustration but you CANNOT shove a cameraman — who was just trying to move out the way. You just can’t. Please apologize for that! Please!” Smith tweeted after the video made the rounds on the internet.

Luckily for Stephen A, his wish came true as Adams immediately issued an apology on social media following the immediately viral incident:

“Sorry to the guy I pushed over after the game. Obviously very frustrated at the way the game ended and when he ran in front of me as I exited that was my reaction and I felt horrible immediately. That’s not me. MY APOLOGIES man hope you see this,” Adams tweeted.

Monday night’s heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs — which saw the Raiders go for two instead of tying the game with an extra point (they ultimately lost 30-29) — has dropped Las Vegas to the bottom of the AFC West with a 1-4 record.

Given that teams like the New York Jets currently sit at 3-2, the Raiders are going to have to turn around their season NOW if they want to have a shot at a Wild Card spot, as winning the AFC West division is now surely out of the question.
