Earlier this week, offensive tackle James Hudson III signed a two-year, $11 million deal with the New York Giants, and the official post announcing his signing went viral on social media due to Hudson’s resemblance to rapper and singer T-Pain — so much so that even T-Pain himself got in on the fun.
T-Pain — best known for his auto-tuned hits such as “I’m Sprung”, “I’m ‘n Luv”, “Buy U a Drank”, “Bartender”, “Can’t Believe It” — caught wind of he and Hudson’s similarities and hilariously posted about it on Twitter (T-Pain has quietly been a great follow on the social media platform for a while now.
James Hudson III, a 25-year-old offensive, was drafted out of the University of Cincinnati (he began his college career at the University of Michigan before transferring) by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Giants have made a handful of signings so far in the early goings of free agency, including cornerback Paulson Adebo, safety Jevon Holland, defesive lineman Chauncy Golston, linebacker Chris Board, offensive tackle Stone Forsythe, and defensive tackle Roy Robertson-Harris.
Big Blue — who are heading into a make-or-break season for head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen — has also resigned players such as quarterback Tommy DeVito and wide receiver Darius Slayton.
In this spring’s NFL Draft, which will be held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay from April 24 to April 26, the New York Giants have the third overall pick.
