Baker Mayfield Should Be On High Alert For The Italian Mob After His Mockery Of Tommy DeVito

Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers very quickly put an end to all of the excitement surrounding the return of folk hero Tommy DeVito. He ruthlessly taunted the New York Giants by flaunting the ‘Ma Che Vuoi’ celebration after finding the end zone right before halftime.

If the former No. 1 overall pick suddenly disappears, look no further than the Italian mob!

DeVito, better known to some as Cutlets, was thrust into the lineup after the demotion and subsequent release of Daniel Jones. Brian Daboll passed over a frustrated Drew Lock to try and catch lighting in a bottle for the second year in a row by starting the most Italian quarterback in the NFL. It did not work.

Tommy DeVito did not provide a spark.

New York failed to score a single point during the first 30 minutes of play. DeVito completed three of his five pass attempts for only 31 yards with three rushing attempts for two yards. Italy’s New Jersey’s prodigal son could not bring much-needed life to a floundering franchise like he did one year prior.

Due to the lack of offensive success, DeVito was unable to revive his signature touchdown celebration. He typically pinches his fingers together and throws his hand into the air in stereotypical Italian fashion. It is more commonly known as ‘Ma Che Vuoi.’

Meanwhile, the Buccaneers totaled nearly 300 yards of offense during the first half: 230 through the air and 60 on the ground. Mayfield went 19-of-23 with two carries for 19 yards and a rushing flying touchdown.

As soon as the nearest official signaled for a touchdown, Baker Mayfield pinched his fingers and threw his hands into the air. He hit DeVito’s signature celebration against the Paesano himself.

If that was not brutal enough, CBS immediately cut to a distraught DeVito on the sideline as Lock looked on.

It was a rough day for Tommy DeVito but angry Italians had his back.

Fortunately, he is still getting paid a good chunk of money to play professional football on the highest level while living at home to save a few bucks. On the other side of the field, it was a great day for Baker Mayfield— who is not familiar with his family ancestry.

Nevertheless, he needs to be on high alert for the mob!!
