Miami Dolphins fans had to worry about their offensive production on Sunday when superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill was ruled out. Thankfully, they played the Jets, and won easily, 30-0.

But, the team is in the middle of a division title race and could even be the top seed in the AFC, and they’re going to need the speedster back in next Sunday’s huge Dolphins-Cowboys game.

Thankfully, it appears that he will be available next week. Here’s Pro Football Talk with more.

“Dolphins receiver Tyreek Hill didn’t play on Sunday, after suffering an ankle injury on Monday night. Although it was characterized in some circles as a close call, a source with knowledge of the situation tells PFT that Hill could not have played today.

Next Sunday, however, it could be a different story. Per the source, it’s currently likely that Hill will play.”

That will be music to the ears of Dolphins fans. The team does not have a win all season against a team currently over .500, despite being 10-4. It’s not college football where polls matter, but it seems like the team needs a signature win.

There’s no doubt they’re better with Hill on the field. Prior to sitting out of Sunday’s game with the ankle injury, Hill was on pace to go over 2000 yards receiving on the season and possibly break the single-season record.

Through the first thirteen games, Tyreek Hill’s numbers were ridiculous. He has 97 catches for 1,542 and 12 touchdowns on the year in the league’s most explosive offense.

In his absence on Sunday, Jaylen Waddle stepped up, hauling in eight passes for 142 yards and a touchdown. But, when the two of them are on the field together, alongside speedy running backs Raheem Mostert and Devon Achane, the offense can overwhelm defenses with speed.
