Texas wide receiver Xavier Worthy blasted Oklahoma players for celebrating their “Natty” after a win in the Red River Rivalry. The pass catcher has had enough of the postgame antics from the Sooners.

OU beat the Longhorns for the fourth time in the last five seasons, and they’ve let it be known on social media.

That might have something to do with the 49-0 shellacking the Horns laid on the Sooners the year prior. In what was an exciting back-and-forth contest, Oklahoma scored last to win 34-30.

The matchup saw eight ties or lead changes as the two foes battled for the right to stay undefeated. Texas overcame a 10-point second half deficit to go ahead 30-27 in the last two minutes, but quarterback Dillon Gabriel led the Sooners down the field for one last drive to score the winning touchdown with just 15 seconds remaining.

The loss was a hit to Texas’s national title chances, though they still have a shot to run the table and force a rematch in the Big XII Championship.

For now, though, OU players are living in the moment.

A pair of Sooners commemorated the win with matchup “Horns Down” tattoos, while linebacker Danny Stutsman unveiled a custom line of t-shirts reading, “Oklahoma only fears God. Texas fears Oklahoma.”

Xavier Worthy took offense to the outpouring of celebration with a post on social media.

The wideout said, “You would think MFs just won the natty” on his Instagram story, referencing that t-shirt drop on Thursday.

College football fans were quick to comment.

“You’d think Texas would be back by now.”

“This was literally Texas all last year.”

“He should cry about it harder.”

Worthy played a key role in Texas’s offensive success on Saturday, bringing down eight receptions for 108 yards. Unfortunately, he was held out of the endzone on a crucial fourth-and-goal play that helped the Sooners secure the win.

Worthy is now 1-2 against Oklahoma over his three-year college career.
