Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship has dominated sports and pop culture headlines over the last few weeks. Especially after the international superstar attended the Kansas City tight end’s game at Arrowhead Stadium last weekend, which is an absolute gold mine for the NFL.
Swifties have been trying so hard to learn the sport of football, but they have failed miserably. Headlines have tried to work ‘Swelce’ into the conversation, no matter the subject. Kelce’s jersey sales have skyrocketed over the last seven days. Mark Cuban even begged Swift to date one of his players.
All of this goes to say that this relationship is a very, very big deal across the United States, and the world. Whether you care about it or not, it is unavoidable. Kelce and Swift’s PR people have been working overtime, even though the story mostly sells itself.
Video from last weekend’s game shows the exact moment in which Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs sideline figured out that Swift was in attendance at the game. Their reactions are hilarious, because even they are starstruck!
Mahomes’ wife, Brittany, is another interesting part of the whole thing. She typically commands the spotlight and may not appreciate that Swift is stealing some of her thunder. In fact, their fans were duking it out on social media until a recent report said that the two “WAGs” hit it off.
Mahomes must have really made a positive impression because she was in attendance at girls night with Taylor Swift, Blake Lively and Sophie Turner on Saturday night. They all got together in New York prior to Sunday night’s Chiefs game against the Jets in New Jersey.

According to multiple reports, the Kansas City tight end snuck away from the team hotel in Jersey City to meet up with Swift before her night out. He was spotted slipping in the back door of Swift’s Manhattan apartment while wearing a shirt that read “I’m not doing s— today.”

After spending some time with his boo, Kelce’s private Range Rover came and picked him up for his return trip to the team hotel. Swift later hit the city with Brittany Mahomes, Lively and Turner.
If Kelce does not play well on Sunday night, he is going to hear it from Chiefs fans who are upset with the distraction of his relationship. If Kelce plays well on Sunday, Chiefs fans are going to want him to visit Taylor Swift on the Saturday before games every week!
