The President of the United States is currently beefing with an ESPN personality. Donald Trump doubled-down on his war of words with Stephen A. Smith by calling him an “arrogant fool” and “dumb as a rock” on social media.
After questioning Stephen A. Smith’s IQ following Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday, President Trump — who took issue with Smith’s take about him attending Game 3 of the NBA Finals at MSG — hopped on Truth Social on Wednesday morning to double down.
Instead of vague comments about his IQ, however, Trump got right down to brass tacks and called SAS dumb.
President Donald Trump says that Stephen A. Smith is an “arrogant fool” and is “as dumb as a rock” in latest escalation of their beef
“Stephen A. Smith is a LOW IQ individual, an arrogant fool, and as dumb as a rock,” Trump wrote. “He is not equipped, in any way, shape, or form, to run for any office, let alone President of the United States.”

On the Tuesday, June 9 episode of First Take, Smith fired back at Trump in his typical fashion by taking on the tenor of a mob boss and challenging him to a debate.
“You wanna talk about IQ, I could say I could put my IQ against yours, I got something even better I could ask you why you been running from me for the past year since I asked you to talk to me, I could ask you to debate me since you think you’re that dude. We could go a myriad of ways,” Smith said.
Given that Trump has played right into Smith’s hands by extending the news cycle of the beef, Smith will surely be once again responding to the President in the coming hours. One thing that won’t be happening today, though, is Trump attending Game 4 of the NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden following his appearance at their last game coinciding with the end of their 13-game playoff win streak.
