Between August 15-18 in 1969, more than 400,000 experienced music history when they attended the original Woodstock at Max Yasgur’s dairy farm near White Lake in Bethel, New York in the Catskill Mountains. Now, 50 years later, another epic concert will take place in northwest New York state.

Woodstock 2019 goes down between August 16th-18th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic concert and it will have an incredible bill. The 50th-anniversary show goes down in Watkins Glen, New York and will feature a variety of musical acts from different genres including hip-hop, rock, pop, plus even some of the legendary bands who performed at the original Woodstock 50 years ago.

Some of the noteworthy acts to appear in the festival include JAY-Z, The Black Keys, Robert Plant, Chance the Rapper, Santana, The Killers, David Crosby, Janelle Monáe, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, The Raconteurs, Imagine Dragons, John Fogerty, Greta Van Fleet, Run the Jewels, Earl Sweatshirt, Portugal the Man, Dead and Company, Halsey, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, and Miley Cyrus.

“It’ll be an eclectic bill,” said the Woodstock 2019 organizer Michael Lang. “It’ll be hip-hop and rock and some pop and some of the legacy bands from the original festival … I want it to be multi-generational. Woodstock ’94 was a nice mix of young and old and that’s kind of what we’re going for here.”

Tickets for Woodstock 50 go on sale on April 22nd and are available for purchase on the Woodstock official website.
