Here’s The Concerts You Can See For Free From That $400 Million Ticketmaster Lawsuit (It’s Actually Not Bad)

Over the weekend we told you how Ticketmaster had a massive class action lawsuit go against them. As part of the $400 million settlement for “excessive and deceptive” service fees, Ticketmaster was forced to give away free tickets. At the time, the list of free concerts was a dead link, but today we have word on the free shows, and it’s not a horrible lineup.

When I first saw that Ticketmaster would give tickets to concerts, I assumed it would be the bottom of the barrel acts like a Creed reunion tour or some absolute garbage. However the list of gratis shows is not too shabby.

Some of the shows include Black Sabbath, Bob Dylan, Weezer, Mumford and Sons, Prophets of Rage, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, O.A.R., Slipknot, The Cure, Brand New with Modest Mouse, Blink-182, Hall and Oates, Keith Urban, New Edition, Sublime, Steve Miller Band, Gwen Stefani, Counting Crows, Bare Naked Ladies, Steely Dan, Flight of the Conchords, Duran Duran, Gary Clark Jr. and “Weird Al” Yankovich.

Approximately 50 million people will receive free tickets and discount codes. Ticketmaster is offering $42 million worth of discount codes on an annual basis for the next four years.

However, there are no free shows in New York City.

You can see the entire list of eligible shows here.
