The calendar just turned to October, and most of us are reveling in what is shaping up to be a great fall (unless you’ve been contending with the nor’easter). Football is chugging along, the baseball playoffs are heating up, and Halloween is falling on a Saturday. Here in Milwaukee, it’s perfect weather for a flannel, T-shirt, joggers, and a crisp pair of sneakers. The only thing I’m missing is the last one, but the new Air Force 1 colorways from Nike might be just what I need.

What more could you ask for in a shoe? The look, comfort, the versatility…it’s a timeless shoe that everyone from sneakerheads to fashion noobs like me can appreciate. Pairing them this fall with jeans or joggers is the easiest way to look put together while simultaneously remaining laid-back and casual.
For my money, I’d go with the Menta and White colorway. I don’t have anything in my current footwear collection that pops quite as hard as these.
